So this whole moving thing has been quite the extended adventure, and spans severl months. Here is the first segment.
Here is the boys at a St. Patricks Day Parade in Fort Collins on a house hunting trip. At this point we thought we would rent for a year or so to get to know the area before settling down. After and exsauting trip, and losing out on places left and right because they were gone in less than a day, we decided to head home with out a plan because it shouldn't be that hard to find a place when we came out permanently (this was a very wrong assumption, as we would come to find out.)
Adaline hiding between the boxes, this poor girl has spent more than half her life a midst boxes and suitcases.
One last visit with Grandpa Baxter and Uncle Shawn before we left town. David, Annie and Hans came too since they were in town helping us pack up. Shawn walked right in and picked up the baby and she was quite content.
The three boys on the old tractor of what remains of the Baxter farm in Orem.
Dennison's teacher Mrs. Tomlinson, there was a quite a few tears, it really broke my heart. Good thing kids are pretty resiliant.
Sammy and Lyla at the playground.
Here'e the after school playground crew. Many days it took us quite a while to get home afterschool got out because all the kids wanted to stay and play.
After closing on the house, and defending his dissertaion, we headed to a farewell party in Mike's honor hosted by his boss.
Down to the last few days with much of the furniture already packed in the truck, we enjoyed breakfast Easter morning.
Its getting emptier, but the last few things seem to take forever to figure out what to do with, and then there is the cleaning. Nana was a life saver and helped out so much with the cleaning and lots of other stuff.
Heather was in town and popped in for one last impromptu visit.
Our dear friends from the ward and neighborhood threw us a going away/graduation party. Although the weather didn't cooperate, we were happy to have the opportunity to say goodbye for now to everyone. We miss you so much, and hope to see you all again sometime.
